I began practicing Yoga whilst studying Ayurveda in 1994. I am qualified in both fields. I fell in love with yoga straight away as a way to connect with and move my body and calm my mind. Ayurveda is the sister science to Yoga. Like two sides of the same coin, these traditions give us wonderful tools to know ourselves deeply so we can create good health and live with more ease and contentment.
I completed an Iyengar Yoga teacher training in 2001 under senior teachers Pixie Lillas and Alan Goode and have been enjoying teaching ever since.
Yoga will always be a part of my life. It helps me to slow down, nourish my nervous system and, as I age, it helps me stay supple, strong and connected to my inner joy and peace.
