FREE 'Come and try' - a one hour introduction to Yoga for students aged 11 to 16 years.  

Come along by yourself or join with friends!

Learn and feel how yoga can work for you.

This class has been taught by Loretta for three years now. She creates a friendly environment for young people to arrive from school, hang out if they need at beginning of class, room to get changed ready for an hour class together.

The experience includes:
* Trying new sequences of movement and postures each week
* Finding space to let go of the day
* Time to relax, center and inspire oneself
* Space and time to connect with the body, the mood and the breath
* Stretch, move, balance and strengthen from head to toes, to fingers
* Concentrate and focus the mind and attention
* Let go of tensions and worries and have fun
* Gain confidence and contentment mentally, physically, emotionally
* Share a peaceful and supportive and friendly environment for young people

Yoga is great for everybody – especially teenagers.

Our Yoga for Youth classes helps our youth endure stress, develop resilience, and improve self-esteem. Taught in the calm, supportive and invigorating studio at Unfold Yoga, the sequence of postures are suitable for those with no yoga experience and are designed to both support and energise young people.

Our Yoga for Teenagers x8 week course starts on Wednesday 6th February, 4.30pm-5.30pm.

This practical session will give people who are completely new to yoga, or just new to our studio, an understanding of the set-up and delivery of a yoga class at Unfold. You will experience the practical instruction, the atmosphere, the purpose and the benefits of yoga.
